
Senior Principal & Strategic Planning Strategist
Kim Weaver is a Human Resource professional with more than 20 years of broad-based experience in corporate diversity and inclusion, learning and development, strategic planning, and organization development. Kim takes a client-centered approach to her work, strategically aligning her efforts to address organizational and human resource opportunities and challenges, while enabling clients to achieve their business goals. In prior roles, Kim has served internally as a trusted advisor and strategist to Fortune 500 companies, expertly assessing, evaluating, developing and implementing initiatives that shift cultures and obtain desired results. She has progressively risen through the ranks with increasing responsibilities and scope from Consultant to Vice President. She has worked internally in diversity & inclusion for Sodexo, McCormick & Company, and Wells Fargo. Working internally as an Organization Development Consultant with Walt Disney World, and as a Director of Organizational Capability and Executive Development with Marriott International, Kim has gained valuable experience.
Kim has led, designed, developed, and implemented organization development initiatives including organizational assessments, change management, process redesign, organization restructuring, strategy development, strategic planning sessions, and developed organization development tools, and facilitated team effectiveness, and focus groups. Kim’s work also spans the public sector including leading diversity and inclusion for the Great Lakes Region of the Federal Aviation Administration.. She has also consulted with the US Postal Service, US Army Corps of Engineers, and the Air National Guard. Kim pursued a Ph.D in Multidisciplinary Social Science (ABD) from Michigan State University, and she holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Michigan State University, and a Master of Science in Sociology from Bowling Green State University. Kim serves on the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake in the Greater Baltimore area.
